Just Four Kids is a Southland owner-operated service, our Educators are the backbone of the exceptional service and care that we offer. We want to ensure you are valued and supported.

We are committed to our Educators by providing a group of highly experienced, local staff including our Visiting Teachers, Administration and our Director Suzy who manages the business in all aspects. You will always be able to make contact for advice and support.

Just Four Kids was founded to offer high quality homebased early learning in our community. We have established many community-based links to offer a wide range of learning opportunities as well as a support network for our Educators.

We listen to you. Just Four Kids regularly asks for advice and input from our Educators, we offer you the tools and resources you need to be successful in your role as a Teacher. We have a collaborative approach to everything we do.

We are committed to offering the NZSE NZ Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 4) This ensures that we can continue our goal of providing high quality homebased education and care.

What can you expect from Just Four Kids?

Remuneration of at least $24 per hour, paid to you weekly (based on four children in care per hour.)

The ability to negotiate your own hourly rate which can vary from child to child.

Full administration including invoicing to parents and collecting fees on your behalf. We also provide printing, laminating etc.

A start up payment of $100 towards resources of your choice.

Full induction, free First Aid training, health and safety training.

Professional Development is paid for by Just Four Kids. (subject to prior approval.)

Weekly group outings paid for by Just Four Kids.

Cover from one of our team for emergency relief or cover for appointments. (subject to availability.)

A supply of up to date resources from Ministry of Education, and other organisations to help support your Teaching Practice.

Payment of 100% of your remuneration if a child is absent and four weeks of 50% your remuneration for your children to take as agreed holidays.

One day per year – fully paid – to attend professional development of your choice.

An annual membership with the Home Base Childcare Association which includes insurance for statutory and public liability cover.

Assistance to write your own Teaching Philosophy.

Fence sign and marketing materials.

Branded high visibility vests for your care children.

A branded backpack to assist you with your children’s belongings on outings.

Local office and dedicated support team.
