Sam’s environment is well set-up both inside and outside, she has a great selection of resources that are easily accessible to her children in care. She has a wide range of resources for varying age groups. Sam is also providing a wide range of activities and learning experiences for her children, from messy play, play dough, baking and painting. Sam often purchases new resources according to the needs of the children that she has in care.
Sam has strong, reciprocal relationships with the children and families in her care. She uses a noticeboard to communicate with her parents – this includes photos from the weeks activities and learning experiences. This includes messages to her parents and upcoming events also. Sam’s parents feel welcome and have a strong sense of belonging as they sit down to have a chat.
Sam’s preference in the under-two year old age group where she specialises in the care and needs of infants and toddlers. Sam is extremely attentive and is able to effectively recognise the cues of young children and she tends to this in a very timely and nurturing way.
Sam has a current first aid certificate, clear police vetting for her home, she meets our licensing criteria and has years of experience and training.
